Industry 4.0 – Virtual Showroom App
Virtual Showroom is an app that allows you to configure and re configure a machine system virtually.
Purpose of the App:
Using 3D models connected to data links to replicate a physical system a machine can be re-configured to give customers different options to suit their requirements.
A typical example would be for machine builders to demonstrate to their customer different scenarios and outputs as the machine is re configured.
This saves time and costs in building a physical system and gives immediate different options.

Industry 4.0 – Fault Tracker Mobile Application
Mobile Engineering Application built in collaboration with 4thWall Virtual. Demonstration video filmed at the International Manufacturing Centre The University of Warwick.
Purpose of the App:
- To support part of the life cycle of the production system which focuses on maintenance and operation.
- The application can be used on mobile devices by maintenance engineers working directly on the shop floor
- he application becomes a gateway for information from the physical system generated in real time e.g. – control information coming from sensors on the machine
- Display of rich views such as 3D models, maintenance manuals for specific components in the machine, control cabinet views.
- Gateway to aggregate different types of information and data to a rich view for an engineer to better perform maintenance , fixing operation or preventative maintenance.
Agumented Reality - AR
Augmented Reality is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. Using a mobile device camera to point at the physical system, an engineer can access live engineering data which is displayed as virtual tags over the physical system. Engineering data such as Control State or sensor information is linked via a 3D model of the machine system.
Industry 4.0 – Live View App
Live View is a mobile application that links the virtual world with the physical world using Augmented Reality ( AR )Technologies. Augmented Reality is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.
